The Indian General Elections: Battling Power

As the candidates of the Indian General Elections sprint towards their final hurdles of the long and hard fought, competitive track, the tension heats up. Many claim the Indian National Congress are abusing their power to the end by influencing organisations to make decisions to hinder their opponents. BJP countering by showing how INC and their candidate, Mr. Rahul Gandhi 'needs to get his facts right' before coming onto the stage. the BJP candidate, Narendra Modi brought the Congress' real position to the stage after bringing up the fact that Mr. Rahul Gandhi said that "27 billion people in Gujarat (Modi's state) were unemployed". He failed to that 27 billion people exceeds the population of the world, by nearly 4 times! In fact, it is proven that Gujarat, which is the state presided over by Narendra Modi and the BJP, has the lowest unemployment in all of India! Therefore, Mr. Rahul's facts are wrong as it is... and his attempt to influence supporters has not gone too well. Time 100 recognised Modi and Kejriwal (of AAP) onto their Most Influential People list, gaining them international attention.
As tension continues on the rise, the parties still continue relentlessly at each other. More external opinion polls now show Mr. Modi dominating 70% of the votes! That is huge! However, we see why Narendra Modi is a top favourite. First of all, he is aware of the facts! Second, he is someone who is known for quick change. And also, he already is Chief Minister in Gujarat, which statistically and visibly is the fastest growing and economically strongest state in India.
However, some people still go for Congress, with their respectable reasons. Some people have been lifetime supporters, some really trust the Indian National Congress and some are workers for the party. Congress hitting back at Modi by claiming that he is engaging in "Low Level Politics".
Time will tell all!
The iBusiness Times will have their opinion polling now!
Vote today!
