Taking Politics to the Heart: The Indian General Elections

As the Indian General Elections draw to a close, with the exit polls complete and the counting to take place this Friday, so will The iBusiness Times' coverage on it, and we will return to our normal business reporting.
Numerous news agencies have released their exit poll results on the Indian General Elections, which are polls that ask people who they officially voted for, and the results predicted a fashionable and overwhelming victory for the BJP, led by Narendra Modi. However, as the results came out, so did criticism from various individuals. We passed this as it is bound to happen in any election or event, however one particular individual caught our attention. Author and historian, Amaresh Misra, who is also a member of the Indian National Congress is very active on Twitter, constantly accusing BJP of corruption, and claiming that if BJP wins, they ('they' presumably being him, his circle or maybe the Congress?) will call in the Army and the State Reserved Police force to kill BJP supporters. Yes, this may be an expression of his support to his party, however is it not a little over the top? Adamantly passing this once more as a common affair when there are elections, we moved on, and scrolled through his accounts, until we found a tweet that said:

"Election commission is a central body and comes under Congress Government till 16th May.
We will ensure BJP/NDA do not cross 180 [seats - with a target of 272]!"

As disturbing and gruesome as the other tweets were, one particular one claiming that they (again, we are not sure who 'they' is) hit the streets if Modi wins and blood will flow like water, the one stated above caught my attention, as being the one that stood out as one that made people suspicious as to, will the votes be rigged by Congress? We feel this account deserves attention, as it is very disturbing and shows strong words against the BJP, and even certain groups of people Mr. Misra chooses to brand as BJP supporters. Apart from the political and public reasons, it also makes BJP supporters feel uncomfortable, and is going completely against the 'free elections of democracy'.
Not only do such comments gain a violent image for the tweeter himself, but also lowers the reputation of his party, because it is not right to make death threats and disturbing comments about people at a political or national level, and then claiming that they will rig the votes to make sure the rightful winners do not allegedly rig it.
