The iBusiness Times Ranks Top 5: Airlines

Here in the second edition of The iBT Ranks Top 5, we will be talking about Airlines. Air Transport businesses are huge in the world, and are a must. Masses of people from busy executives to people visiting relatives to holiday makers swarm airports... again, 24/7. So here is The iBusiness Times' top 5 Airlines.

1. Qatar Airways Qatar Airways has claimed first spot for The iBusiness Times! This Middle-Eastern luxury has been voted top airline by many firms, for service, presentability and even safety. The iBT has put it first for exactly these reasons and its consistency. This airline has consistently been showing top form for months, even years now, and just deserves number one. Qatar Airways is a business that will continue to prosper!

2. Emirates I think this was a given. Emirates... I have travelled with Emirates more than 20 times definitely, and it is simply divine. I put it second, because I believe that Qatar Airways crew are trained to make the passengers feel more personal. Emirates makes it slightly more professional. I guess this is good too... but sometimes people just need personalised treatment!

3. Singapore Airlines A safe, friendly and reliable airline. Simple, Singapore Airlines shows sincerity in their business, and make sure to put their passengers before anything else. Nothing more to say I guess, an airline which is great as it is, and has vaults of potential, waiting to be released!

4. Cathay Pacific I have travelled on Cathay Pacific, and it was a good airline... standard service, friendly staff, comfortable flying, however I feel their ways to deal with problems is single track and lacking in experience. The airlines which are the front line is great, however if you call the offices to ask or complain, the staff gets a bit confused and do not know exactly how to tackle issues. Overall, a good airline, which a few hinders which can be fixed!

TIED 5. Etihad Airways & Virgin Airlines Etihad Airways is probably the youngest airlines of this group, and has grown impressively! The service and airlines are great, however The iBT feels it will take a few more years of hard work to get this airline locked into number one! Growing fast, Etihad is doing well.
Virgin Airlines are also an amazing business. Their visionary leader Mr. Richard Branson has done an excellent job in securing a strong foothold for the company. The Virgin Group also owns 16% of AirAsia, which is another upcoming business icon, lead by Mr. Tony Fernandes. I have no doubt that Virgin Airlines will soon be approaching the Top 3, very soon.

And that was The iBT's list of Top 5 airline businesses, watch out for the next one!
