The Stock Market and Yahoo!

Three to four years ago, Yahoo was battling it out with Google, and was a tough competitor in the internet services and search field. As Google got the upper hand in this race, Yahoo seemed silent for years, until a couple of days ago. Former Google Senior Management member, and current Yahoo CEO, Marissa Mayer made a speech at the Consumer Electronics Show, marking a come back for Yahoo. Over the last few years, Google and Bing took the stage, while Yahoo seemed dormant, however during the CES 2014, Mayer announced a handful of new products and acquisitions, one of them being "Aviate", a smartphone app that reorganises your homescreen based on your location, and what apps are necessary.
As people are finding out about this, the stock market has begun an ascend, and I have invested in Yahoo shares myself! Yahoo also uncovered that it is harbouring more users than ever before, as well as clearly providing the exact services that are in use with smartphones at the moment.
