News agencies around the world have begun reporting about an online security breach bug known as the "Heartbleed Bug", which compromises the most basic online private/encrypted data protection feature, SSL. The secure sockets layer, activated by the internet protocol of https:// is the main and foremost layer of protection against hackers or software breaching accounts and passwords. However, for the past two years, the heartbleed bug went on undetected. Major businesses, namely Google, Yahoo, Amazon, Facebook and even banks are hit hard with shock after this discovery, and users even harder, while knowing that all your credit card details, pins, numbers and even transaction history could have been on the web for the past two years, being held by private sites and illegal societies.
We strongly recommend you beef up the security on you online accounts!
